How
to make a smoothie
First, when making a smoothie
you’ll need a blender or something to crush and mix up all your ingredients
with. I will be using a blender, put your appliance on the highest setting at
first so everything will chop enough to be drinkable.
Then, get the fruit of your choice,
when making a smoothie you can use fresh, caned, or frozen fruit. Also get your
choice of a liquid, milk, ice cream, yogurt, or water. You can also add some
sort of protein if desired or any other ingredient you want to add in (peanut
butter, nutella, anything to add more flavor.)
Now, you need to put everything in
the blender. Mix all of your ingredients on high until you get a smooth, whipped-like
texture. At this time you can add some honey if you want it to be sweeter or
sugar whatever you prefer. If adding
some honey I would add about a 1 tsp. blend it again and taste is just keep
adding 1 tsp. at a time until it is how you like.
After that, you will need to add
your ice cubes. Only put a couple of cubes in, the more ice the more watery
your drink will be. If you are using a frozen fruit you don’t even have to add
ice!
Finally, you need to blend it all
together. Don’t forget to put the lid on!! You will need to blend until the ice
is crushed. Once finished you may pour your delicious smoothie into your
favorite cup and enjoy the yummy creation you just made!
